Overview

Grace Christian Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Worship Pastor. The Worship Pastor will play a vital role in cultivating a culture of transformative worship across all environments within the church. This is a salaried position with key responsibilities in leading worship, developing future worship leaders, and planning engaging worship services that facilitate spiritual growth and formation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a Culture of Transformative Worship:
    Lead by example and inspire the congregation to engage in worship that deepens their relationship with God and fosters personal growth.

  • Develop Future Worship Leaders:
    Invest in young vocalists and musicians to identify and nurture their talents, with the goal of developing the next generation of worship leaders. Provide guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

  • Recruit and Train Musicians and Worship Leaders:
    Actively identify and recruit individuals who possess musical gifts and a heart for worship. Provide training and support to help them develop their skills and lead worship effectively.

  • Oversee Worship Rehearsals:
    Coordinate and lead worship rehearsals, ensuring that musicians and worship leaders are well-prepared and equipped for worship services. Train future worship leaders and music directors to take on this responsibility.

  • Wednesday Night Student Ministry Worship:
    Oversee the worship time for the Wednesday night Student Ministry, working with and developing leaders who can plan and lead worship in that specific setting.

  • Plan Engaging Worship Services:
    Collaborate with the Lead Pastor, Teaching Pastor, Production Director, and other ministry leaders to plan weekly worship services that engage the church in spiritually formative practices and experiences. Choose appropriate songs, incorporate diverse musical styles, and utilize creative elements to enhance worship.

  • Recruit College-Age Students:
    Actively recruit college-age students who have a passion for worship to participate in a worship leader internship program. Provide guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within this context.

  • Discipleship & Small Group Participation:
    Lead others in discipleship relationships, providing spiritual guidance and support. Actively participate in a regular small group for personal growth and accountability.

​Job Description
15-20 Hours Per Week

​Overview

Join the Grace Team as the Early Childhood Director, where you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can experience God’s love and develop a strong foundation of faith. You will oversee our early childhood programs, including Sunday preschool classes, nursery care, working collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and families to create meaningful and engaging experiences for children and their caregivers.

​Key Responsibilities

  • Attend Weekly Staff Meetings (M-W): including All Staff, Communication Practice & Prayer Time.

  • Maintain Volunteer Relations: communicating monthly schedule, yearly anniversaries and birthday recognitions.

  • Recruit New Volunteers: review applications, interview & perform background checks of applicants.

  • Set-Up & Clean-Up of KidzCity Lobby (Sun): computers, tablets & label printers for check-ins of existing & new families.  

  • Prepare Classrooms for Sunday: post teacher guides on FB, print lessons, set-up class carts with supplies, install gates in doorways.

  • Maintain Family Relations: recognizing new families, and communicating events & updates to existing families.

  • Participate in Discover Grace (monthly).

  • Assist with Large Events at Grace, including: Easter, At The Movies and Christmas.
